Video narrative explaining why I am “Hooked on snags”
I have been photographing snags for years. A snag is a dead tree still standing, and — CRUCIALLY— still contributing to its environment
This post is all about a 1.5 minute video. It includes movie clips and still photographs woven together in a single story of the beauty and mystique of snags.
The 4-second clip below will give you an idea of the theme (snags), as an osprey carries twigs to place in its nest atop a snag.
I hope this short leaves you wanting more, and more is exactly what you’ll find through these links.
The 1.5 minute video is here.
My Snags and Their Allies photo gallery is here.
To give away the main point of the video, how could I not find snags fascinating in seeming to be dead while actually contributing to their environment.
I invite you to visit WilcePhotos.com for many many more videos and photographs by myself, a nature and wildlife photographer!
