Like me, you might have been thrilled to see the total eclipse of the moon, turning it blood red.
Wow!
I got out of bed at 2:30 a.m. and took care of last minute things. I arrived at Lake Mary and began shooting at 4:00
I have blogged about the photographic results and my reflections on them, and my thoughts about the experience in 2026 as well as 2021 and 2022. You will find that newest post by clicking here, on the post’s title:
Moon Thoughts After the 2026 Eclipse
Here (and nowhere else) you can see my first photograph on that occasion, not even cropped:

Metadata: Shot with 40-150mm lens (set at 150mm) on OM-1 camera, ISO 3200, f/5.0, 1/15 second
I hope you got to see that moon for yourself! See YOU on WilcePhotos!
Oh, by the way, I have turned off the sales function on my WilcePhotos galleries. The exceptions today are the two amazing pieces of digital art on the blog post .
Those two photos live in my Composite and Digital Art gallery.
Available items: 8×10″ print for $12, a high resolution digital download for $18 and a medium resolution download for $12.
