I have been shooting photographs and videos for more than ten years. The 2016 blog entry, “The Ducks That Swim In Circles” is one of my most popular posts, at least on OutdoorsWithCamera).

So I am doing the ducks that swim in circles “redux” /reducks! Ten years ago the ducks were swimming in the largest pond in Sedona Wetlands Preserve. This time they were on Walnut Canyon Lakes (Old Walnut Canyon Road Ponds).

Note: The video clips in this sequence zoom in on the Shovelers gradually.

Of interest: This is a collective endeavor, as the ducks join to stir up mucky food from the bottom. But one duck hives off on his own at least for a while.
